Turkey Trot

The Zack’s Place Turkey Trot in 2025 was a tremendous success. The weather was perfect for the event. Folks came out in droves, and overall, we registered over 1,800 runners and walkers for the event.

At the event, we enjoyed several highlights, including a performance by John Snyder’s band and a rendition of the National Anthem by Zack’s Place participant Jonathan Gardner. Attendees also enjoyed delicious treats donated by Price Chopper Stores.

The event T-shirts featured the logos of over 75 sponsors, which helped us raise $47,000. Along with contributions from more than 1,800 participants and additional donations, we generated approximately $140,000 in gross revenue. This amount represents nearly one-third of Zack’s Place’s annual budget, enabling us to provide quality programs throughout the year.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and sponsored the event. We also appreciate the support from the community. The feedback we received indicated that everyone had a fantastic time. We hope to see you all in 2026!
