About Zack's Place
Welcome to Zack’s Place Enrichment Center, an inspiring community for adults with special needs where connection, creativity, and purpose flourish daily! Our engaging programs are designed to boost confidence, promote independence, and nurture meaningful friendships.
Through adaptive sports, art, music, cooking, and community involvement, participants grow and thrive in a warm, inclusive environment. At Zack’s Place, every individual is cherished, and each day is bursting with opportunities waiting to be explored!
Volunteer
Volunteers are an integral part of the success of our wonderful enrichment center and they participate in many capacities. Our annual Turkey Trot has over 50 volunteers helping with registration, traffic control, timing, food, and entertainment (the band). The annual musical production sees our participants and staff joining with assorted and talented community members. They include actors, set builders, stage hands, directors, lighting experts, musicians, and choreographers.
Volunteers also participate in daily programming with some dedicating their time week and after week and year after year.
Making A Difference
“Our daughter has been attending Zack’s Place for 20 years. It is her happy place; where she socializes with friends, enjoying a range of activities that are enriching and interesting. Programs are fun and offered at no cost. They include cooking, adapted sports, music; art, field trips, science, yoga and book club. One of her favorite activities is our yearly musical. We are grateful for the opportunities Zack’s Place brings to the Upper Valley community.”
