Zack’s Place Enrichment Center, established in 2006, has thrived and grown over the years thanks to the financial support of our friends and neighbors in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. Annual Giving

Every winter, Zack’s Place (ZP) sends out its Annual Appeal, titled “The Stay at Home Tea.” Your donation of any amount supports ZP’s vital mission, which provides quality and diverse programming to over 100 adults with developmental disabilities. Many of our participants travel from the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire and beyond to join us.

All our programs are offered at no cost and feature a wide range of activities, allowing individuals to choose those that interest them. These offerings include education, art, theater, fitness, adaptive sports, and field trips. Our programs are designed to engage participants in the community and foster connections with one another, giving them opportunities to learn, grow, and socialize.

By contributing to ZP, you are genuinely making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs. To make a donation, you can use the online donation button above, or you can mail or deliver your gift to Zack’s Place Enrichment Center at PO Box 634, 73 Central St., Woodstock, VT, 05091.

Outright Gifts

When you contribute to The Zack’s Place Sustainability Fund, you can unlock valuable deductions on your federal and state tax returns. Gifts to Zack’s Sustainability Fund

We’re excited to share that you can create a named endowment fund with a generous gift starting at just $10,000, subject to Board approval. Together with the Sustainability/Finance Committee, you can define your fund’s purpose, ensuring it aligns with your vision. Our Executive Director, alongside the ZP Treasurer and Accountant, will provide you with an annual update on the fund’s performance and how your contributions are making a difference!

Legacy Giving

A bequest is a gift made through a will or a trust substituting for a will, such as a revocable trust. Estate giving presents a wonderful opportunity for donors to make a significant charitable impact that may exceed what they could offer during their lifetime. It’s a thoughtful way to utilize assets while still alive. Bequests can be direct or contingent, and donors can choose to designate ZP as the recipient of a specific dollar amount or a percentage of their remaining estate. Plus, the estate can benefit from a charitable deduction for the funds designated to ZP. It’s a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy!

Life Insurance Beneficiary Designations

You can easily name Zack’s Place as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy without transferring ownership—what a fantastic way to make a meaningful impact! By doing so, you’re making a revocable deferred gift, much like leaving a bequest in your will. Plus, you have the flexibility to designate ZP as either a primary or secondary beneficiary. If ZP is the secondary beneficiary, the gift will depend on the occurrence of another event. Your generosity can truly make a difference, and we’re grateful for your support!

Retirement Plan Distributions

You have the wonderful opportunity to name Zack’s Place Enrichment Center as the beneficiary of your IRA or other retirement funds! This generous act not only helps our mission but also allows your family to inherit other assets that may have a lighter tax burden.
